the Linguist, after Day 1 of March Break Art Camp
- me: So how was art class?
- the Linguist: Good.
- me: What did you do?
- the Linguist: We made a box, and we painted it. We left them there because they weren't dry yet. We can bring them home today.
- me: I can't wait to see it. What else did you learn about?
- the Linguist: Oh, we learned about Marc Chagall, a famous painter. Have you heard of Chagall before?
- me: No, not really. What kinds of things did he paint?
- the Linguist: Well, he painted in a certain way, and he used lots of bright colours, like that.
- me: Oh, I see.
- the Linguist: "Great art picks up where nature ends." We learned that today.
- me: Wow, cool.
